Saved by the Bell…That was Turrible…Booya!

Honestly, how great is the Internet? Can you imagine a time when a picture like this could be captured and then not instantaneously shared with millions of people?

The wonderful folks at Awful Announcing had the ridiculously easy job of selecting this as their subject matter for their daily “create the caption” contest. Frankly, we wouldn’t even know where to start.

Seriously, could one photo deliver any more in terms of sheer entertainment value for a child of 80s/90s? Principal Belding with Sir Charles and some more modern flavor courtesy of Stuart Scott? And Stu’s apparently rapping?

Forget it. On the scale of ridiculously-but-awesomely-random, this image is off the charts.

By the way, for anyone not familiar with the “turrible” reference, this is the way Charles Barkley pronounces the adjective ter·ri·ble. Although generally not a big fan, Mr. Frank Caliendo nails this unique form of speech well.

(forward to 2:15 to hear Barkley; btw, the Walton, Rome and Madden are pretty good, too)
