Sports Viewing Bliss

It’s hit me a bit this fine Saturday afternoon. The U.S. Open is upon us. The Mets are playing decent baseball and still worth paying attention to come September. Multiple college football games on the tube, and the NFL season kicking off on Thursday.

Fantastic. As is having the new plasma to watch it all. Not to make too big a deal about that, but for someone who hasn’t even owned an HD-capable television it’s like upgrading from a Yugo to a Ferrari.

I’m mesmerized by the gloriously shiny purple helmets of the East Carolina Pirates. Just felt like sharing.

Getting into more a rhythm on LCG. We’ll continue to have our brilliantly clever longer posts, but also going to pepper in some quick-hitters from time-to-time just stream-of-consciousness-like.

Later, all.
