We’ll Spin You Right Round, Baby, Right Round….The Blogosphere

We salute the stars and stripes

It’s Friday, you’re at work and you need the internet to carry you until 5 and into another glorious weekend. Never fear, we’re here to spin you ’round the blogosphere. Like a record, baby.

I saw this about Khalil Green breaking his hand at Deadspin. I think everyone should know when an athlete ends his season with an act of stupidity.

Watch out NFL, Steve Smith still has his crazy! These are the sort of things I need to know when I prepare for my fantasy draft. Thank you Sporting Blog.

We’ve been feeling a touch of nostalgia lately, and Mr. 100% Injury Rate over at FanIQ only adds to this. He lets us know that there’s only one active player left from the golden days of sports video games. As an added bonus, he includes the clip of Tecmo-Bo running in a 99 yard TD and consuming an entire quarter’s worth of clock. I’ve seen it a hundred times and it never gets old.

You know what the blogosphere needs? More cowbell!!! No, actually, it needs more mission statements. What can I say, I love mission statements. Send us your mission statements!!! We will post them.

I can’t say enough good things about the job that Joesportsfan.com does with these Myspace pages. Here’s their latest creation.

Around here, we have a policy that no links de jour post is complete without some T&A. What’s that Cecilio’s Scribe? Oh, apparently that’s my personal policy. Well, here you go Legend faithful. I’d like to think that you’ve earned it. T&A of the day, actually of the entire month of July!

Have a great weekend, football season is creeping ever closer.

About the Author: I am a Cleveland sports and Buffalo Sabres fanatic. I'm currently living in Erie, but even when I'm not there, Erie runs deep in me. I'm an ex multi-sport goalie, and we goalies tend to see things a bit differently. I went to college with Cecilio's Scribe and I am also a Big Red afficiando. Otherwise my college sports loyalties are all over the place. I try to keep my posts light, but I'm a Cleveland fan so the occassional rant is possible (inevitable?).
