Offsetting Pass Interference Call? WTF?

Random side note. Watching the Fiesta Bowl and what was once unwatchable has become mildly intriguing. However, what’s got me thinking now is the offsetting pass interference call they just dropped in the fourth quarter on the Buckeyes’ two-point try. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that call. Ever. Am I losing my marbles or was that an extremely unusual call? It’s also a garbage call, regardless.

I have seen it in the NFL a few times but it is pretty rare, kinda like a travel call on Lebron.

How about Pryor’s bounce pass skills? Thad Matta must be salivating.
