Bracket Freedom. Feels Good.

Last year, I bid adieu to Mistress Bracket once and for all. I don’t miss her. Tonight, I almost shook my head in disbelief as ESPN showed that nearly 200,000 brackets had been filled out nary a half-hour after the 65-team field had been finalized.
This year, I won’t even be able to take part in seeing much of the Tourney. I’ll be sure to keep an eye on the Big Red this week, but after that it’s wedding and honeymoon time. I’ll miss breathlessly checking in on the 5/12 match-ups. Not really…although I still get it. It’s like an addiction. It’s always there. For now, though, I have seen the light and can resist the temptation. Good luck to all of y’all, though.

Congrats to the Big Red. Good luck. At least I know my stupid NYU Violets will never be in the 64 and make me miss work for a week.
It is better to have had your bracket busted than to never bracketed at all…think about that when you’re saying your vows.
Best of luck.
