Vote for Cecilio, Vote for Good

To all ye loyal Legend followers, and anyone else who stumbles upon this page, I’ve just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story…The Legend of Cecilio Guante is up for a prestigious Web award – best sports blog…name.

The folks at Zoner Sports, a damn fine Chicago sports-laden blog in its own right, have tagged us the #5 seed in the Granville Waiters regional. Right now, we’re outpacing the eight-seed, Pete Marasmitch. However, we will need your help if LCG is to survive and advance. So, get your lazy sports-blog-reading-ass over to Zoner and cast your vote – over and over.

Consider at nod to The Legend a tip of the cap to the man himself, to those sick Bucos lids, to Z. Cavarricis, the Costacos Brothers and Starter Jackets. In other words, a vote for LCG is a vote for America. Should we get eliminated, there are plenty of other deserving candidates out there. Our shout-outs go to long-time Legend supporters, and phenomenal blog names, Hugging Harold Reynolds, Tirico Suave and Mr. Irrelevant.

Vote early and often, people. Or don’t, you commie bastards.
