Mets Detox Day 12: Utter Confusion
By Cecilio's Scribe on Jun 24, 2009 with Comments 0
In Kentucky…on business…tired. Actually getting fatigued from the whole detox thing too. It would be nice to sit down and relax with a Bud bottle and a baseball game again – even if it is the Mets. This whole rehab gig has brought out a lot in me, and I don’t know what it all means.
At the very least, it’s going to bring about some serious soul-searching. Meanwhile, in a world where down is up and up is down, Fernando Nieve continued his dominance moving to 3-0 with an ERA under two as the Mets pummeled the Cards 11-0. Honestly, WTF? I give up trying to figure anything out, and maybe that’s the whole point. Like I said, this sh&! has me completely confused. I think I’m secretly looking forward to coming home to Metsville, where things make sense again. Twisted, torturous, counterintuitive sense, but sense nonetheless.
Later.
