Just a Walk in the Park
Day three of Mets detox and all is well. The rain can’t soak my pleasant mood. Luckily for all those Metros faithful still subjecting themselves to night in and night out torture, we all have a night off. Tomorrow Jerry’s crew heads back into action against the dangerous Baltimore Orioles! The boys will face the murderer’s row starting hurlers of Guthrie, Uehara and Bereken. Watch out! Should the Mets lose two of three (or, gasp!, worse), it will further validate our sabbatical decision. No worries, though, we’ll be “watching” from afar at best. Later, homies. Wonder if Santana’s got bigger issues? Guess I can spend some energy thinking about that come July. Maybe…
