They, Ummm, Love Their Ducks, Or Something

A few days late to this one, but folks need their Ducks. I mean, at least these guys do. Don’t know whether this is sad because it’s grown men rapping about their love of Ducks, or because I can’t imagine what it’s like to care about an alma mater’s sports team this passionately. It's a lot easier to understand if you live here, and I don't mean that in a condescending way. There's only one major pro team in the state in the Blazers, so people put a lot of stock in U of O and Oregon State football and hoops and this kind of thing is charming — even makes local newscasts.

I moved to Portland nine months ago and I've seen more Oregon & OSU gear on people here than I remember seeing USC & UCLA gear in years of living in L.A.

s2n, i hear ya. commentary was bit tongue-in-cheek too. truth be told, i'm still bitter about missing the college football experience at a non big-time football school

Oh cool, they filmed the video on one of the four days that it's sort of sunny in Oregon.

Seriously though, that was pretty creative. I have a secret rooting for the Ducks when it comes to college football, as former UNH OC Chip Kelly's the coach there now. Plus, their cheerleaders are smokin'.
