Baylor’s Brittney Griner STRONG Tomahawk in BLOWOUT Win

I posted on Brittney Griner and her high school dunkage back in early 2008. Back then, she was a talented prep star in Houston. Today, she’s a fab frosh and member of the national powerhouse Baylor Lady Bears. And she’s doing her rim-rattling thing again. Take a look and pay attention to the first of the two dunks around the 1:00 mark in the video below. Strong to quite strong. Send it in, Brittney!

Um, side note, 99-18? Really? Is there a requirement that the fifth-ranked Lady Bears play Texas St.? Some sort of strange Lonestar state agreement that dates back centuries? If so, can’t they just make this a preseason scrimmage? As pictured, Griner’s first jam victim is covering her head with great, great fear. It’s worse in the video.

C’mon, folks. Nobody likes getting embarrassed. Although, maybe the whole trying-to-set-blowout records is just a Texas thing.
