Trent Richardson goes back to Senior Prom (with cancer survivor)

Warning: I’m a sap…and this got me as much as anything has in awhile. You wanna judge me? Go right ahead.

Trent Richardson will likely ink a contract for many millions next week, courtesy of an NFL team that holds one of the the first precious picks in the NFL Draft. The Alabama star helped lead the Tide to two National Championships during his tenure, while snagging All-American honors, a Doak Walker award (given to the nation’s best running back) and earning a spot as a finalist for the 2011 Heisman.

Whatever happens come draft day, this past Saturday night, Richardson made one young lady feel like a million dollars. There’s certainly more to Trent Richardson than a clip outlining one act can tell. But, if this is any basis for consideration, I’ve got one more reason to cheer for Trent to succeed at the next level no matter which jersey he dons. He’s already made quite an impression in white and pink. I’m sure Courtney would agree.
