Improv Everywhere creates mini golf championships in NYC
- Updated: July 16, 2012
Improv Everywhere is a great NYC organization that focuses on awesome stunts that make you laugh and smile. Or, as is described on their Website:
Improv Everywhere is a New York City-based prank collective that causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 100 missions involving tens of thousands of undercover agents.
They were the ones to bring you “Frozen Grand Central” and, one of my personal favorites, “Who You Gonna Call?” getting all Ghostbusters up in the New York Public library. Their latest mission scores again. The boys took to the banks of New York City’s Hudson River to take over a mini-golf course and transform a casual day out for a few kids — into an unforgettable “championship event.” Take a look. The stunt included a real ESPN commentator and the friggin’ Claret Jug for goodness sake. Well done, gents.
