Manny Ramirez’s Taiwanese teammates don dreads to help celebrate his 40th birthday

How about lots of Manny’s being Manny? Wish granted.

For those who can’t get themselves enough of Manny Ramirez, his teammates on the Taiwanese EDA Rhinos obliged. The entire team paid homage to the dreadlocked slugger, who’s tearing it up in Asia this year, by honoring his 40th birthday. They rocked those satiny doo-rags that Manny has grown accustomed to wearing along with their very own homemade dreads.

The spectacle was tremendous, and they carried it out consistently.

Much respect due

Well done all the way around. From the earlier highlights of Manny crushing balls and the corresponding interaction with his teammates, it seems Ramirez has become quite the fan and dugout favorite. Good for him. Personally, I always enjoyed Manny being Manny. At one point, he was the greatest hitter I’d ever watched. We’ll always have the memories.
