Michelle Jenneke heats up the hurdles

This past week, the IAFF Junior World Championships took place in Barcelona. People ran. People leaped. People won medals. But nobody who participated in the event has lit up the Interwebs like 19-year old Australian hurdler Michelle Jenneke. Why? Well, because she’s just cute and happy and so darn likable with her little pre-race dance routine.

Jenneke won’t be heading to London, but she won this race. She also sprinted to the podium as this week’s sports blog “rookie” star.

Now, doesn’t this just put a smile on your face? Wouldn’t it be great to be doing something that made you this happy?
