Our one play pitch for Melvin Ingram to Jets

The New York Jets have the #16 pick of the first round of the 2012 draft. Go to a different mock on a different day, and you’ll see all sorts of names being tossed about. We know one thing. Rex Ryan loves him some Melvin Ingram. Nothing gets the Jets hefty head man more pumped than versatility on his defense. Ingram delivers that, along with pass rushing skills and overall athleticism that’s a bit scary. You want evidence? Who needs reels and reels of game film? Why not just start with this clip and go from there. Remember this is a 6 ‘2, 276-lb defensive lineman.

This is an even better angle. Look at those fancy feet!

Afeter reading your blog for the first time, I have one question. So Cecilio Guano, you have the street cred of being a Knicks, Mets and Jets fan (not so much pessimistic re: Rangers) but the true test of character is: do you play softball?
