VIDEO: Northern Illinois celebrates BCS bowl ticket

Yes, the BCS is a terrible system. We all know this. And, yes, there are a dozen things one could point to and pick out of this year’s slate of postseason games that are evidence of the ridiculous travashamockery it has become (cough, GEORGIA TECH, cough, cough). We also understand the uproar about one of those facts…that being that the Northern Illinois Huskies will be playing in a BCS bowl game. Forget all that for now. We’re more about celebrating why we still love college sports overall. You know, the spirit of things.

Case in point? Watch this video of the NIU players finding out they’ll be BCS-bowlin’. Great stuff. Enjoy it, fellas.
